Witter Swanson

Board of Advisors

A native of the Adirondacks, Witter Swanson is a passionate advocate for climate change education and clean energy development. He currently works as the Climate and Energy Justice Policy Coordinator for the Roosevelt Network, where he oversees and advises progressive public-policy projects in the Network’s 40-plus college chapters.

Witter worked as a Solar Research Intern, and as a Business Development Intern with the Vineyard Power Energy Cooperative in the summer of 2020.

Witter also serves on the board of advisors for the Adirondack Youth Climate Program, a climate education and youth civic engagement organization for high school students based out of the Wild Center Museum in Tupper Lake, NY.

Witter Swanson a member of the class of 2021 at Amherst College, where he majored in Political Science and Environmental Studies. At Amherst, Witter served as Senator for the Class of 2021 in the Association of Amherst Students, a Co-President of the Amherst Political Union, the founder of the Amherst College Ski Race Club, and a member of the Amherst Men’s Club Soccer Team.
